A fairly new metro-Japanese restaurant in Katipunan. We've been seeing a really huge tarp atop Oracle building and thought we had to get it over with. Hihi. I am a big fan of Japanese food and I had been eagerly looking forward to this day. Finally!

My verdict: Well, it's ayt. Lol. Okay, average I think. Or less than that. :s The food items were quite overpriced. I'm saying this based on my countless visit to Japanese fastfood and legit Japanese restos around Makati.

Oh well. You just have to try Roku for yourself. Then let us know. :)

The Chocolate Kiss Cafe

The Chocolate Kiss Cafe, or ChoKiss as what the local UPD students call it, has undeniably gone a "Legend" status. It is one of those places students brag about UP, aside from the Sunken Garden and The Naked Man.

We visit ChoKiss during "splurge" moments only because their menu offers dishes up our average food expense budget. Even so, they never fail to satisfy us.

I always enjoy their mashed potato. It's the right taste of salty, sweet, and mildly sour. Too bad it goes straight to my thighs. Lol. Try the ChoKiss brewed iced tea too and ask for additional calamansi for it. J
